Truth be told, I love a really good cup of tea even more than a flat white.

Nevertheless, it’s the cafe culture–the hip, dark shops or the bright, sleek counters, small businesses where little micro-communities come together for their morning rituals, that really fascinate me.

I’m undiscerning as long as the vibes are right, and the pastries are tight (very excited to have made that line rhyme).

I hope this site can act as a beacon of light to other coffee shop junkies as they visit the cities I have sipped coffee in, so that they too might know what’s what in an increasingly caffeinated world.
